I (Lisa Evans) grew up in a riding school. My ambition was to run my own. This began with a horse and pony in my back garden. Slowly, I worked my way up. I have been running the riding school for 15 years, becoming an approved Pony Club Centre in 2010. I encourage children and adults to appreciate and learn all aspects of equestrianism. My two daughters, who now work with me, have grown up in the riding school and both been riding since they could sit up!
Our aim is to create a space for everyone and encourage adults and children of all spectrums to spend time at the riding school, whether you ride, enjoy a carriage drive, or just simply bonding with a horse. We understand the therapeutic benefits of being around horses. We believe there is a clear correlation between spending time with horses and a positive effect on your health and mental well-being. This is what prompted us to get involved with the RDA and gaining the accessibility mark in 2005. Since then, we have worked alongside many local schools and organizations with amazing results in developing confidence, self-esteem, responsibility, and promoting well-being.
Our passion is to develop the next generation of equestrians, so we have a full diary of events to keep both children and adults busy.
